TRAVIS SIMOES

TREASURER | COMMUNITY OUTREACH | SOCCER PITCH AFICIONADO

Adult and solid reasoning in the Next Up NoVa trio for sure. A lifelong athlete, Travis Simoes and his family moved to the Northern Virginia area from Long Island, NY when he was in the 2nd grade.

From Strong Island to Fauquier County, he played competitive soccer and basketball throughout his childhood, and credits his work ethic, commitment, and his ability to stay out of trouble to his involvement in youth athletics. Travis attended Liberty High School in Fauquier, County where he played for the high school soccer team in addition to his club team.

Now co-owner of a family run construction company in Fauquier, where he oversees strategic and day-to-day operations, financials, and logistics. Travis Simoes brings decades of industry and business experience to Next Up Nova. His belief and dedication in building community and having a “Center” OF the Community makes Travis an integral part of the Next Up NoVa mission.

Through his years involved with youth athletics as a player and parent, as well as an active community member and charitable partner— Travis saw that there was more that could be done in the community for opportunities for kids.

Finding likeminded individuals to partner with, like John and Rob on the Next Up Nova Youth Center has realized a lifelong dream for Travis.

“The ability to offer a wholesome environment where children can spend their time developing productive life skills through sports and the arts, has always been a dream of mine. More than ever, kids need places within their communities where they can be themselves, learn and participate in things they love. Next Up Nova uniquely offers all of that, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds”.

Travis, along with his wife and four children are strong members of the Warrenton, VA community. When he isn’t working or at Next Up Nova, you can find our triple-threat Soccer-Dad, Dance-Dad, and Swim-Dad on soccer fields, at dance competitions and at swim meets all over map supporting his kids!
