At Next Up NoVa, Basketball is a big part of our lives and our goal is to develop athletes from the ground up at all levels and ages. We have put together a diverse staff of trainers with tons of high school and college coaching experience, as well as, former Division 1 players and NoVa Basketball legends. 

PROGRAMS

All programs are for both boys and girls with monthly training packages available at all levels. All monthly memberships of 2 classes or more per week receive high quality photos and media at registration or first class attended.

  • Beginners is our Co-Ed Group training program for our newest & youngest athletes to learn introductory basketball fundamentals and body movement with exercises. Athletes will learn & work on a combination of skills that will challenge them to get better including ball handling, passing, shooting, defense and basketball IQ. These hour-long group training classes utilize a variety of basketball drills that will help them develop a complete set of skills on the court and life skills and good habits to help athletes prepare for their journey off the court.

  • Intermediate to Advanced is our mid-tier small-group program for well experienced elementary age players and experienced middle & high school age players looking to take their game to the NEXT level. NEXT prepares athletes by strategically drilling, redefining, & reintroducing foundational principles designed to focus on game-translatable concepts that will challenge, elevate, and develop each athletes basketball skill and IQ. Athletes are pushed with intent & purpose. We understand basketball player development is a journey and objective is to drill the micro details of foundational principles that will lead to skill mastery.

  • Chris Lewis basketball programs are for athletes looking to engage in skill-building exercises, team drills, and game simulations designed to sharpen your abilities and foster teamwork. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player seeking to refine your game, our group training sessions provide the perfect platform to grow and succeed in basketball.
