SARA VORCE HUGHES

Growing up in Northern Virginia, Sara was a dedicated dancer in both Ballet and Modern, completing her B.F.A in Dance at George Mason University.  After college she relocated to New York City, where she studied with the Mark Morris, Merce Cunningham, and Jose Limon dance companies.  It was in New York City where she found her love for Pilates.  She went on to earn her comprehensive certification with Core Dynamics through Michelle Larson and Dilla Mastrangelo.   She also has certifications with Core Pilates (Mat Pilates) and Pilates on Fifth (Cardiolates), Piloxing (V Pilates and Piloxing), and Sugarfoot Therapy.  She taught in Washington DC at Sports Club LA and Equinox, and in Los Angeles at V Pilates and Piloxing, White House Pilates, and Ready Sweat Go.  Currently Sara teaches at the Pilates Studio in Gainesville along with teaching remotely to a devoted client base spread across the United States.  Sara is a highly motivated, results-driven fitness professional with history of progressive responsibilities. She has demonstrated success in Pilates, yoga, Piloxing and group fitness in support of client and student goals.
